As part of the ALAP group of companies, ALAP Inspektor Minőségügyi és Méréstechnikai Kft. (Alap Inspektor) was established as a fully Hungarian-owned firm in 2013.

The company’s headquarters can be found in Veszprém, however, we are practically present in the entire territory of Hungary and also in the neighboring countries with the majority of our services, through our cooperation partners. Our colleagues have several decades of experience mainly in the field of automotive industry, in positions ranging from production line engineers to factory managers. They have a deep knowledge in connection with injection molding, metal processing, assembly and other basic manufacturing processes.

Our 3D optical measurement technology services are based on the latest state-of-the-art GOM equipment. This technology enables us to measure products with an extremely complex geometry in a highly precise way, even under industrial conditions. A full-surface scan of the product being measured is obtained, where the number of points captured is in the millions. As a result, the hidden defects of the product (burrs, cracking, distortions, etc.) can be directly seen. The surface can be compared to the available 3D model and thus the differences can be visualized in a color-coded map. This way, the verification of dimensions is much more precise, for the diameter of a cylinder, for example, is determined with the help of several ten thousand points captured on the entire surface.

And all this within an extremely short time, since some steps of the scanning process (‘shots’) take only a few seconds. The density of the point cloud created this way is so great that each tiny defect, scratch, damage, carving mark etc. can be easily identified on it. The density of the point cloud enables us to load it directly into the NC processing center. The point cloud captured during the scanning process can also be used for other reverse engineering, so-called re-engineering tasks. In such a case, an existing product or manufacturing tool is used to create its technical documentation in the form of a 3D model. Download the software on our website free of charge!

Our active supplier development activities range from the inspection of incoming goods at the customer’s premises and complaint management to providing assistance in the processing of complaints at the supplier’s premises and support for the plant management. We help our partners also with the audits to be conducted at their suppliers and the on-site management of complaints in Hungary or abroad. If needed, we undertake to plan and implement projects in a professional manner, whether it is the launch of a new product, the relocation of production or the modification of a product.
